At Monks Lane pre season training is underway and we are all looking forward to our senior teams' opening games in September. The men and women both finished last season on a high with Papa John’s Cup victory and a win against Bath Ladies respectively. Do pass the word to any new and potential players that they will be most welcome to Tuesday and Thursday evening training sessions!

The younger sections of NRFC will also be getting into their stride over the coming weeks and at the Blues we are very proud to say that most of our senior team players graduated from mini/ junior/youth ranks.

The commercial team have been very busy with lettings, weddings, outdoor events and clubhouse improvements. LED floodlights have been installed on pitches 2 and 3, the scaffolding is up ready for solar panels to cover the south, west and east facing roof sections. A new flag pole is in place, ladies toilets are being refreshed and a bicycle rack will soon be a further addition. The grounds are in wonderful shape. Various other initiatives are in the pipeline and reflect the incredibly proactive, experienced and dedicated people that are involved across the Blues family. Thanks to you all!
