Newbury Under 9's won their 3rd festival in a row yesterday. Having won the Reading Abbey and London Irish festivals in March, they regained there crown as Newbury Festival winners for the second year in a row.

Seeing off Reading RFC 40 - 5 , then beating Maidenhead 35 - 0, they drew there next game with Reading Abbey 0 - 0.

This put them through to the final against Salisbury. A hard fought battle saw the mighty U9's emerge winner 10 - 0. Team captain Tom Leonard lifted the cup for the 2nd time in two years.
