On a very wet and windy December day, Newbury U10s attended the Saracens Festival at the Stonex Stadium. We took 2 teams of 8 players along with family and friends.

A great day out was had by everyone, with a clean sweep and both teams winning all 5 of their games, this against some tough and unknown opposition such as Braintree RFC, Datchworth RFC, Bishops Stortford RFC, Hertford RFC.

After the festival had finished and everyone had warmed up, we were treated to Saracens v Vodacom Bulls in the Investec Champions Cup, it was great for the Newbury players to see their heroes scoring tries on the same pitch which they had just played on themselves!

Newbury U10s continue their great run of form and must now make them the most successful Newbury Team in the club’s history?
